Save our food, save our planet! This year’s disco soup will focus on solutions to the climate crisis we’re in. The spotlight will be on how food waste reduction can be a tool to stop the climate crisis. But we will also discuss other ways to effectively reduce our dietary impact on the planet.
In Vermont, this year we will gather to dance, to chop and process pounds of locally grown vegetables donated by Salvation Farm!
Please bring your own knife, peeler and cutting board.
Join the party, dance, have fun and chop veggies to support the Burlington Food Not Bombs free meals distribution. All the vegetables are donated by Salvation Farm.

Did you know that today, one third of the food produced for our consumption is wasted. It is being fed to bins. Saving 25% of this, would be enough to feed 870 million hungry people in the world, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
Ready to challenge ourselves? This year for the 6th edition of World Disco Soup Day we want to take a broader perspective: our main goal will be to raise awareness on the current climate crisis and how we can have a positive impact with our diets. Join us!
