Vermont: Land, Lives & Food
A compilation of photos, poems, and writing from Vermont farmers, artists, and eaters.
From the introduction:
We are Slow Food Vermont, a chapter of an international movement that believes everyone has the right to good, clean and fair food. Slow Food stands at the crossroads of ecology and gastronomy, ethics and pleasure. It opposes the standardization of taste and culture while celebrating the cultural and biological diversity in our food system. We believe that everyone has a fundamental right to the pleasure of good food and consequently the responsibility to protect the foodways that make this pleasure possible. Our association believes in the concept of neo-gastronomy: recognition of the enduring connections between plate, planet, people, and culture.
Enjoy!
