Barrel-Aged Cocktails & Game!

Here we are. It’s cozy outside. Just about time to start a fire. The nights are chilly and whiskey is starting to sound good again. How about you whip up your favorite cocktail and get it in a barrel, or age it with some oak staves. How about we pair that incredible cocktail with some wool, and a roasted pheasant, squab, rabbit, or venison? That sounds like a mighty fine time with friends and delicious, to boot. Start planning ahead and get your cocktails aging – they take a minimum of two weeks to get them where you want them. Probably wanna curl up and read some of Mark Twain’s Feast or some Steve Rinella for this one for some inspiration cooking game. Can’t wait to see what you bring to the table!

For our final Slow Food Supper of the year, we are highlighting Indian food. Curry, basmati, savory and fragrant. Indian cuisine really does have something for everyone! It can be as spicy as you desire, it can be vegetarian, it can be meaty, saucy and piquant. One thing is certain, Indian cuisine is extremely delicious, comforting, and perfect for a cold November night. Dig a little deeper for this potluck and look into regions of India for inspiration – try your hand at tandoori techniques, bake some naan, or create your own curry. We cannot wait to share this communal feast with you!
