Soup Shooters & Bread Sticks!
Right here at the end of summer, we are surrounded by an incredible amount of ingredients that are perfect for soup! Squashes, tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, parsnips, celery, the list it truly endless! Think cold, hot, room temperature and pair it with a crunchy accompaniment – bread sticks, tiny toasts, grissini, anything that can give a satisfying crunch after shooting back a satisfying soup.
Please bring your soup ready to pour.
If you need to reheat your soup at the potluck, that is just fine.
If you have a dozen shooter glasses for your dish, that would be great – if not, we can rinse out and reuse between soups. If you’d like to own your own, we suggest Kittredge Restaurant Supply in Williston. Have fun!
Slow Food Suppers are potlucks, and they are always free to attend. Just RSVP to this ticket so we know how many people we’ll be hosting. This year, each Slow Food Supper will take place in a different location, across the state – this one will be in Hinesburg. These events are always packed and promise a good time, so if you haven’t attended one yet, please do!
We look forward to seeing you there!
