JUST STUFF IT! DUMPLINGS

 

All across the globe, people have been stuffing meat, seafood, vegetables, cheese & sweets into soft, pillowy parcels of goodness! Now it’s our turn – for our first Slow Food Supper of 2014, we are featuring dumplings of all kinds! Challenge yourself and try to make a type you’ve never made before! There’s ravioli & plin from Italy, pierogies from Poland, gyoza & shumai from China, pelmeni from Russia, manti & borek from Armenia, Fufu from Africa, kroppkakke from Sweden – the list is nearly infinite! From savory to sweet, dry to sauced, doughs made from semolina, rice and potato flours, this is a potluck for everyone – roll up your sleeves, and Just Stuff It!

 


Please bring your dumplings complete and plated, and please provide serving utensils.
If you need to reheat your dumplings, a warm oven, microwave and
pot of boiling water will be provided.


Slow Food Suppers are potlucks, and they are always free to attend.  Just RSVP to this ticket so we know how many people we’ll be hosting. This year, each Slow Food Supper will take place in a different location, across the state – this one will be in Winooski. These events are always packed and promise a good time, so if you haven’t attended one yet, please do!
