What is an heirloom plant variety? Join Mara Welton, president of Slow Food Vermont, and Julie Rubaud, owner of Red Wagon Plants, for a discussion of their favorite heirloom vegetables! Learn about the challenges and rewards of growing them, and how to best prepare them in simple delicious meals. A handmade heirloom-inspired lunch is provided. This is the perfect Saturday afternoon with a fellow gardening friend! Cost is $10.
